2026-2027 Academic Year Fall Semester YKS and DGS (Vertical Transfer Examination) Additional Article 1 (Based on Central Placement Score) Horizontal Transfer Application Results CAN BE ACCESSED HERE.
Final registration procedures may be completed in person or by a person authorized through a notarized power of attorney.
Students who complete their final registration are required to register for their courses through the Student Information System (OBS) and pay the Tuition Fee/Contribution Fee within the periods specified in Balıkesir University's 2026-2027 Academic Year Academic Calendar.
Final Registration Dates:
Students whose horizontal transfer applications have been accepted will be registered between 24-28 August 2026. Students who are entitled to final registration are required to complete their final registration procedures with the necessary documents between 24-28 August 2026.
Documents Required for Final Registration
(The originals of all documents uploaded to the system during the online application process, together with the documents listed below, must be submitted during final registration.)
1- Petition (Click here for the petition form.)
2- Student Certificate (must be approved by the university at which the applicant is currently registered or obtained through the e-Government system)
3- YKS Result Document for the year in which the applicant registered at their current university/program; for applicants applying with a DGS score, the applicant's DGS Result Document for the relevant year. (Internet printouts are accepted.)
4- Document indicating whether the student has received any disciplinary penalty
5- Document stating that there is no obstacle preventing the student from making a horizontal transfer. (Must be approved by the university at which the applicant is currently registered.)
6- Declaration stating that the student has not previously made a horizontal transfer based on the Central Placement Score (wet-signed)
7- Transcript (An official document obtained from the institution the applicant will leave, showing all courses taken and the grades received. The document must be wet-signed, electronically signed, or obtained through the e-Government system.)
8- Photocopy of National Identity Card/Turkish ID Card
9- Photograph (1 copy)
Students Requesting Course Exemption
Students requesting course exemption must submit their transcript, course contents, and Course Exemption Request Petition to the relevant Department Secretariats during final registration.
