Announcement Regarding Students of Our Faculty Who Have Reached the Maximum Period of Study and Additional Examinations at the End of the Maximum Period
At the end of the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year, it has become necessary to provide the following information for students who have completed the maximum period of study (7 years) prescribed for their programs at our Faculty and who may benefit from the right to take additional examinations pursuant to subparagraph (c) of Article 44 of Higher Education Law No. 2547.
Pursuant to subparagraph (c) of Article 44 of Higher Education Law No. 2547, final-year students are granted the right to take two additional examinations in all theoretical and practical courses that they have failed or have not taken, excluding the internship training period, in order to graduate from the higher education institution in which they are enrolled at the end of the maximum period of study.
Accordingly, the list of students of our Faculty who have completed the maximum period of study at the end of the 2025-2026 Academic Year and are eligible to take the additional examinations may be accessed through the link below.
Important
Students who reduce the number of courses they have failed to 5 (five) or fewer following the additional examinations will be subject to the relevant provisions of subparagraph (c) of Article 44 of Higher Education Law No. 2547.
Students who fail to reduce the number of courses they have failed to 5 (five) or fewer after the two additional examinations will be dismissed from the Faculty.
Examination schedules will be announced on the web pages of the departments in which the students are enrolled.
Applications must be submitted through the Student Information System (OBS).

Application Requirements and Implementation Procedures
1. Students wishing to benefit from the right to take the additional examinations must apply through the Student Information System (OBS) on the application dates specified above. Students who do not apply within the application period will be deemed to have waived their right to take the relevant additional examination. No make-up examinations will be held for these additional examinations.
2. Students must carefully check the courses listed on the application screen for which they will take the examinations.
3. The venues and times of the examinations will be determined by the departments in which the students are enrolled and announced on the relevant department web pages.
4. The nature of the relevant course and the assessment and evaluation provisions set out in the University’s regulations will apply to the additional examinations.
5. The additional examinations will be conducted in person.
Application Procedures
1. Applications will be received online through the Student Information System (OBS) within the announced application periods.
2. Students must log in to OBS on the specified dates and submit their applications through the “Ek Sınav Başvuru V2” menu.
3. Students who complete the application process must print and retain a copy of their application form.
4. Students must bring their application forms with them to the in-person examinations.
5. Students must follow the courses for which they will take the examinations and the examination dates, times and venues through the web pages of the departments in which they are enrolled.
