Attention to Faculty Students Who Wish to Take Courses at Other Universities During the Summer Semester

With the decision of Balıkesir University Senate dated 29.05.2025 and numbered 2025/14-3, and updated with the decision dated 10.06.2025 and numbered 2025/16-10, the 2024-2025 Academic Year Summer School Calendar and Implementation Guide was accepted. The Article 4 titled "Taking Courses from Other Universities by Students of Balıkesir University" is stated below.

According to Article 4 of the Balıkesir University 2024-2025 Academic Year Summer School Calendar and Implementation Guide:

4) Taking Courses from Other Universities by Students of Balıkesir University: Students of Balıkesir University may also take courses from other state universities. However, before taking these courses, students must have the content and credits of the courses they intend to take approved by their respective Department Chairs.

Requirements for Our Faculty Students to Take Courses from Other Universities During the Summer School are Listed Below:

* Fill out and sign a petition to take courses from another university and attach the course contents of the courses to be taken from the other university during the summer school.

* Submit the petition to your academic advisor and Department Chair for signatures/approval regarding the suitability of the course contents.

* Submit the approved petition to the Dean’s Office Student Affairs Office.
