Students who are entitled to register for Double Major and Minor Programs must complete their final registration procedures in person at our Faculty on September 11, 2026.

🔹 DOUBLE MAJOR APPLICATION AND EVALUATION REQUIREMENTS
Double Major applications were evaluated in accordance with the application and admission requirements stipulated in paragraph 4 of Article 6 of the Balıkesir University Double Major Program Directive.
Pursuant to subparagraph (a) of paragraph 4 of Article 6 of the Directive, students must have successfully completed all courses included in the curriculum of their major degree program up to the semester in which they apply.
Pursuant to subparagraph (b) of paragraph 4 of Article 6 of the Directive, students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 in their major degree program and rank within the top 20% of their class at the time of application.
For students who do not rank within the top 20%, pursuant to subparagraph (c) of the same paragraph, students who have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 in their major degree program but are not within the top 20% of their class must have an admission score from the year in which they enrolled in their major program that is higher than the base admission score of the second major program to which they apply.
🔹 MINOR APPLICATION AND EVALUATION REQUIREMENTS
Minor applications were evaluated in accordance with the application and admission requirements stipulated in Article 7 of the Balıkesir University Minor Program Directive.
Pursuant to Article 7 of the Minor Program Directive, students must have successfully completed all credit-bearing courses taken in their registered major program up to the semester in which they apply.
To apply for a Minor Program, students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application.
