Pursuant to paragraph 5 of Article 24 of Balıkesir University’s Regulation on Education, Training and Examinations:
Students who have fulfilled the attendance and practical requirements for all courses required for graduation, excluding the internship, are entitled to take a single-course examination if they have failed only one course.
Additionally, students who have received passing grades in all courses but have not achieved the minimum GPA of 2.00 required for graduation are entitled to take a single-course examination in one course of their choice, provided that the grade obtained from this examination could raise their GPA to at least 2.00.
Single-course examinations are held on the dates specified in the academic calendar. To pass the single-course examination, students must receive a minimum letter grade of DD. The midterm examination grade is not taken into consideration when determining this letter grade.
Single-Course Examination Date: 22 September 2026
The examination will be held face-to-face at the time and in the lecture hall to be announced on our Faculty’s website.
Single-Course Examination Application Date: 18 September 2026
Applications must be submitted only on the specified date. Applications submitted before or after this date will not be accepted.
Application Method: Applications must be submitted through the “Single-Course Examination Application Procedures” section under the “Application Procedures” module in the Student Information System (OBS).
Students who experience any problems during the application process must report the issue by emailing iibfogrenci@balikesir.edu.tr.
