According to Article 24, Paragraph 5 of Balıkesir University Education and Examination Regulations:
Students who meet the attendance and practice requirements in all courses except internships and have failed only one course are granted the right to take the single course exam for that course. In addition, students who have passed all courses but cannot achieve the required GPA of 2.00 for graduation may take the single course exam in a course of their choice, provided that the grade obtained in this exam will raise their GPA to at least 2.00. Single course exams are held on the dates determined in the academic calendar. To pass the single course exam, a minimum grade of DD is required. The midterm score is not taken into account in determining this grade.
Single Course Exam Date: February 13, 2026 (The single-subject exam will be held in person in the lecture hall at the time announced on our faculty's website.)
Single Course Exam Application Date: February 11, 2026 (Do not apply before this date. Applications made after this date will not be accepted.)
Application Method: Applications should be made through the Single Course Application module located in the Application Processes module on the Student Information System (OBS). Students experiencing problems during the application process should report the issue to iibfogrenci@balikesir.edu.tr.
