According to Article 19, Paragraph 3 of Balıkesir University’s Education, Teaching and Examination Regulation:
Students who, in order to graduate, have fulfilled attendance and practice requirements in all courses except for internships but received an “FF” grade in only one course, or those who have passed all courses but failed to achieve a minimum GPA of 2.00, are granted the right to take a single-course exam. This right is provided on the condition that, with the grade obtained in this exam, the student’s GPA can reach at least 2.00. The exam must be taken in the course of their choice, on the dates specified in the academic calendar. In order to pass the single-course exam, students must obtain at least a “DD” letter grade. Midterm grades are not taken into account in determining this letter grade.
Application Date for Single-Course Exam: June 11, 2025
Single-Course Exam Date: The single-course exams will be held face-to-face on June 13, 2025, at the times and in the classrooms announced on the departments’ web pages.
Students wishing to apply for the single-course exam must submit a signed petition on June 11, 2025. (Applications made before or after June 11, 2025 will not be accepted.)
Students may send their petitions to iibf@balikesir.edu.tr by e-mail, or they may deliver them in person to the Student Affairs Office. (In-person applications can be made during working hours.)
