Final registration may be completed in person by the student or by a representative holding a notarized power of attorney.

Students who complete their final registration must register for courses through the Student Information System (OBS) and pay the required contribution/tuition fee within the periods specified in Balıkesir University’s 2026-2027 Academic Calendar.

Final Registration Dates:

Final Registration Dates for Primary Candidates of Inter-Institutional Domestic Horizontal Transfer (Based on Academic Achievement Score): Students whose horizontal transfer applications have been accepted must complete their registration between 2 and 4 September 2026.

Registration Dates for Reserve Candidates of Inter-Institutional Domestic Horizontal Transfer (Based on Academic Achievement Score): If primary candidates do not complete their registration, reserve candidates who were declared eligible for registration in the list announced on 26 August 2026 will be reannounced in three groups on the dates specified below. Their registrations will be completed on the corresponding registration dates. No subsequent group will be announced once the available quotas have been filled.

Group 1 / Announcement Date: 7 September 2026     Registration Dates: 8-9 September 2026

Group 2 / Announcement Date: 10 September 2026 (after 5.00 p.m.)     Registration Dates: 11-14 September 2026

Group 3 / Announcement Date: 15 September 2026 (after 5.00 p.m.)     Registration Dates: 16-17 September 2026

Documents Required for Final Registration (The original copies of all documents uploaded to the system during the online application, together with the original copies of the documents listed below, must be submitted during final registration.)

  1. Petition (click here for the sample petition.)
  2. A document confirming that there is no impediment to the student’s horizontal transfer (approved by the university in which the applicant is currently enrolled).
  3. Student Certificate (approved by the university in which the applicant is currently enrolled or obtained through the e-Government Portal).
  4. Transcript (an official document obtained from the institution the applicant will leave, showing all courses taken and the grades received; it must bear a wet signature or an electronic signature or be obtained through the e-Government Portal).
  5. A document confirming that the applicant has not received any disciplinary penalties (approved by the university in which the applicant is currently enrolled; this information may also be stated on the transcript).
  6. YKS Placement Results Document for the year in which the applicant enrolled at their current university/program (internet printout).
  7. Photocopy of the applicant’s identity card.
  8. One photograph.

Students Requesting Course Exemption

Students requesting course exemption must submit their transcripts, course descriptions and Course Exemption Request Petition to the relevant department secretariats during final registration.
