The book “Veri Çağında Kamu Yönetimi ve Geleceğin Yönetişimi” (Public Administration in the Data Age and Future Governance) by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinem Şahnagil, a faculty member in our Faculty’s Department of Political Science and Public Administration, has been published by Necmettin Erbakan University Press (NEU Press).
Exploring digitalisation as a new governance paradigm in public administration, the book examines the various dimensions of digital government from a holistic perspective. It addresses topics such as data-driven management, algorithmic decision-making processes, digital leadership, digital democracy and citizenship, smart cities, and digital twin cities.
Bringing together theoretical approaches and practical examples from different countries, the book discusses both the opportunities digitalisation offers public administration and the ethical, security, privacy, and governance challenges it presents.
