Earthquake, Evacuation and Firefighting Drill Conducted
In cooperation with our Faculty and the Faculty of Health Sciences, an earthquake, evacuation and firefighting drill was conducted by the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) on 22 October 2026.
Following the drill, certificates of appreciation were presented to the AFAD personnel for their contributions by Prof. Dr. Suat Kara, Dean of our Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Sibel Ergün, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
We would like to thank Balıkesir AFAD and all personnel who took part in the drill for their valuable contributions to raising awareness of disaster preparedness.
