Our Faculty Members Continue to Contribute to the Activities within the Scope of the 2025 Family Year
Within the scope of the 2025 Family Year, the panel titled “Every Aspect of Life in the Family Year: Family from the Perspectives of Religion, Law, and Social Services,” organized under the coordination of the Balıkesir Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, was held with the participation of academics and experts from different disciplines.
Faculty members of our Business Administration Department, Prof. Dr. Pelin Vardarlıer and Assist. Prof. Ayşe Gamze Çiftçi Aytekin, took part in the panel both as panelists and moderators, addressing the concept of family in a multidimensional manner from the perspectives of religion, law, and social services. Within the scope of the panel, comprehensive evaluations were made on the role of the family institution in the social structure, current challenges, and interdisciplinary solution approaches.
At the end of the panel, a certificate of appreciation was presented to our faculty members by the Provincial Director of Family and Social Services of Balıkesir, Ms. Emine Böçkün. In addition, a donation made to UNICEF within the scope of the event stood out as a meaningful element that strengthened the social responsibility dimension of the panel.
Through such scientific and socially oriented activities carried out within the framework of the Family Year, our Faculty continues to transform academic knowledge into social benefit and to contribute to sustainable social policies.
