Society 5.0: Sustainable Cities and Communities Seminar Held
As part of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks Program, our Vice Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Tansu Özbaysal, delivered a seminar titled “Society 5.0: Sustainable Cities and Communities” at Susurluk Anatolian High School on April 29, 2026.
During the seminar, key concepts related to sustainability, digital transformation, and the cities of the future were discussed within the framework of a human-centered technology approach, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and smart city applications.
In addition, the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of the Society 5.0 vision were introduced to the students, and evaluations were made regarding future professions and the role of young people in this transformation process.
