The second event organized within the scope of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks was held by Dr. Tansu Özbaysal, Vice Dean of our Faculty and faculty member of the Department of International Trade and Logistics, at Yalova Altınova Tersane Girişimcileri A.Ş. Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
In the talk titled “Society 5.0: Sustainable Cities and Societies,” Dr. Tansu Özbaysal evaluated the effects of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and smart city applications on a sustainable future. She also shared comprehensive insights with students on the economic, social, and environmental dimensions of the Society 5.0 approach, future professions, and the role of young people in the technology-oriented transformation process.
The program, which attracted great interest from students, concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session.
